Meet Your Candidate for Georgia State House District 107

Born in Saigon, Republic of Vietnam. When the North Vietnamese communists invaded Saigon on April 30th, 1975, my father brought his family onto the ship that he captained and left Vietnam for the USA.

Arrived in Seattle, Washington, USA in early June 1975, a week later, got a job as a janitor on graveyard shift at Seattle Central Community College. In January 1976, started my four-year college at the University of Washington while continued working on graveyard shift. Graduated as a mechanical engineer in March 1980.

Accepted the offer to join General Electric as a manufacturing engineer in the Manufacturing Management Program at Nuclear Energy Division and concurrently attended San Jose State University System Engineering graduate program. In June 1982, I completed my education and training.

I continued to work for General Electric Nuclear Energy Division, and in 1984 became Manager Manufacturing Engineering at Harris corporation, 1986 at John Fluke, 1988 at Advanced Technology Labs, and in 1990, got an offer to be on the engineering staff of Rocket Research (R&R), a start-up company in Space Electronics that designed and built small rocket engines for use to maneuver satellites on orbit.  I spent the next 21 years with this company, thru different owners with mergers, and finally sold to Aerojet.  In 2011, I joined International Rectifier, as Senior Program Manager, responsible for multi-million dollars space programs, and in 2015, accepted yet another offer to be a member of a 5-Senior management staff team responsible for profit and loss of Sparton corporation, Georgia division. I founded my own company in 2018, CTH Consulting Services.

Became interested in politics since Ronald Reagan elected President. Passionately agree with his Peace through strength, Supply-side economics policies... I witnessed the Democrats turned 180 degrees from many Reagan policies that were also followed by President Trump and implemented their ill-conceived “Green new Deal” that creates record high inflation in 40+ years. Also, as a Vietnamese refugee, I experienced communist tactics to control peoples, i.e. government rules by decrees, particularly in education.

I am running for Georgia State House District 107 and when elected, I pledge three things not only to the voters in my district but also to ALL Georgians:

  • What GEORGIANS wish; I’ll speak up.
  • What GEORGIANS want; I’ll deliver.
  • When GEORGIANS suffer; I’ll fight to stop it.

I appreciate your interest in reading my profile. Please vote for me to help keep Georgia a great state to live.
